Story Planet is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving literacy skills for children and youth in under-resourced schools and communities. They empower young people to share their stories and respect the voices of others to create a more inclusive world. With non-profit marketing they can expand and help more people.
This innovative non-profit had a social media presence, but no unifying tone or feel to their overall brand. They also had many users running their channels and it had become a challenge to ensure consistent content across their non-profit marketing channels.
As a charity, Story Planet also had limited financial resources and therefore needed an efficient, yet cost effective, plan to help promote their mission across social media that could be adapted by both staff and volunteers.
Clavis created a social media playbook for Story Planet’s employees and volunteers. This playbook gave Story Planet a reference guide to refer to, especially on how to use social media to their advantage. It also provided a training manual for any new employee/volunteer to allow for consistency and brand awareness.
Additionally, Clavis also worked with Story Planet on-site through a series of workshops that provided consulting for digital marketing and social media strategies to help boost their non-profit marketing strategies.
