Small business owners are often working on low-to-no budgets for marketing. One solution to this is doing DIY marketing, all done in- house during whatever spare moments you may have.
However, this “solution” opens up a whole new series challenges, including knowing which tools to use, how to use them, why you should use them, who uses them, what do they cost, what are the alternatives, and a whole bunch of other questions you don’t have time to answer.
Knowing how hard marketing can be for small businesses, Clavis made a free resource to help small business owners succeed. Accessible by both email and online, Clavis created Keynotes, a weekly newsletter highlighting the best of the digital, marketing, and social world.
Not only did Clavis create this free resource available to everyone, but also took it from concept to execution, creating its logo, mascot, branding guidelines, social channels, subscriber list, and workflow processes.
Resources covered include podcasts, books, and online training courses
Tools covered include software, apps, and online tutorials
Thought leaders covered include Neil Patel, Kim Scott, and Ray Dalio
Keynotes is a collaborative effort between all Clavis team members. As a team, we have collected all the people, products, and accounts that have helped us through our own unique digital experiences.
We know how hard, and time consuming, it can be to choose the best digital marketing tools. We wanted Keynotes to be the free, value-based resource we wish we had when first starting out.
In addition to the newsletter, Keynotes has also taken on a personality of its own through its mascot, Key (designed by Defaced Studios).
